A brief introduction to who I am

Hey there, I'm Mark Lister Bautista, currently based in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. You'll find me relishing my favorite pastimes—playing mobile games, delving into books, and cherishing moments with my kids.

Now, let me walk you through my 9-year journey in the design realm. It all began in a printing shop, where I seamlessly juggled roles as a graphic designer and operator of large format printers. Multitasking became my forte, laying the foundation for what was to come.

Fueled by a thirst for creativity, my path led me to Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines, where I plunged into the thrilling world of branding design. Evenings unfolded into a new adventure—freelancing and crafting logos for clients spanning borders. Fast forward, and I've proudly etched my mark on 60-plus logos, serving both SMEs and industry giants.

Then came the era of web design. Beginning with Adobe Muse and transitioning to Adobe XD, InVision, Sketch, Miro, and my current favorite, Figma, collaboration seamlessly integrated into my design journey as I explored the nuances of UI/UX. My projects now span a spectrum—UI design, prototypes, UX studies, usability testing, and even delving into AWS projects, deciphering the intricacies of backward methodology and the CX process.

As the calendar flips to the current year, my plate is brimming with diverse projects—UI/UX, branding, graphics design, and video editing. Throughout it all, I've come to realize that the only real limitation is the belief that something can't be done. Timelines may test us, but they don't render things impossible.

Beyond the design realm, you'll find me in the virtual world, immersed in mobile games. I have a soft spot for Pinoy dishes, and the heartwarming moments with my kids are where I find solace. This is my ongoing adventure—an exploration of adaptability, relentless learning, and finding joy in every design challenge that life throws my way.
